Future advertising
If advertising is introduced, it must be visually and semantically labelled as advertising. It may not imitate navigation, source citations or editorial recommendations.
Advertising partners may not approve, suppress or rewrite independent coverage.
Affiliate links
Any future link that can generate compensation must be identified close to the link and in the relevant page disclosure. Compensation must not affect source selection or factual conclusions.
A general footer notice alone is not sufficient when a specific article contains a compensated link.
Sponsored material
Sponsored material must carry an explicit label before the title and identify the sponsor. The page should describe the nature of the relationship and remain subject to the same accuracy, rights and corrections standards.
